8pod IBC has been developed by ArmidaleIT Pty. Ltd.. Our staff have been providing specialist IT support for over 10 years on both PC and Macintosh platforms.
Understanding the need for easy-to-access, internet-enabled computers at conferences and meetings, we have combined our IT resources with our experience at attending and organising events and exhibitions to produce an exceptional and unique product for the Meetings and Events industry.

Warren Rice
One of the founders of ArmidaleIT, Warren co-owned and operated 5 restaurants in the New England area of New South Wales. Through extensive hospitality, conference and events experience, Warren developed and maintained the high standards of service and exceptional eye for detail that he now brings to 8pod IBC.
Melanie Teychenne-King
After working at conferences and events in customer service and delegate support roles for numerous years, Melanie further her education with a Diploma of Event Management in 2004. Combining her qualifications with her knowledge of the MICE industry contributed towards the development of products such as 8pod IBC. Since then she has gone on to work for national trade shows and exhibitions in Event Operations and large, unique event venues in the Brisbane region in the capacity as Event and Venue Coordinator. Melanie is devoted to giving delegates and attendees a memorable and satisfying conference experience.
Rob Braithwaite
Rob has accumulated a number of useful and varied skills, as a result of his thirst for learning and discovery. Certificates and diplomas include - Information Technology, Interactive Multimedia, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, and Film and Television. Rob had been actively involved in the Computer and IT sector for a number of years before joining ArmidaleIT and 8pod as an IT Support Technician.
Lindsay Teychenne
Lindsay, co-founder of ArmidaleIT, spent a significant part of his career in the communications and Information Technology sectors. He also had a long involvement with the growing field of EcoTourism, and was the driving force behind the development of ecotourism.com.au and the "Waterfall Track" between Armidale and Coffs Harbour.
Lindsay is excited that technology has finally caught up with the needs of society and proudly stands behind 8pod as an example of applying the right technology to client needs.
Michael Bryne
Michael has been working for ArmidaleIT since early 2004, and offers his expertise in Web Design, Networking and Database Development to the 8pod project, helping to keep everything running smoothly
